Progress #5

It’s almost five am.

This game will be the death of me.

So many mistakes have been made. From coding to wrong image sizes to confusing storylines.
In fact, I had to go back and revise the chapters and add a completely new one.

I still don’t have the demo up, which really messes up things.

I’m really upset I didn’t get it finished by my initial plan date. There’s no one to blame but myself. I was a bit starry eyed with things and thought I’d be able to do all these things in the time I allowed myself.

Between other projects, work and life that totally didn’t work. Another lesson learned.

(speaking of other projects ->Here’s a sneak peak of my video for another class. It deals with a tea party so it’s sort of relevant. )

Forever choosing super labor intensive things to do for projects

What I did manage to get done was Chapter two and three. Plus a lot of small details. Game has a point system and set up for endings like I wanted.

Have some screen shots:

Redid the cover : D

Sara, hard at work.

Precious Del.

I’m not sure if people notice, but theres also a custom text box and font set in the game now. It’s something simple but it took me a while to figure out/set up. I’m kind of proud of it ; u ;

What I have left is the fourth/final chapter and the music. If the music isn’t in by Saturday, I’m going to scrap it.

Beta release is Sat Nov 28th. No if ands or buts.

Fortunately, I have willing and available people to test the game over the weekend. Sunday Night/Monday, Ill fix any bugs and release the final version Tuesday.

I’m actually excited to present the project. I mean yeah, Im not done. And I’m in a bit of a crunch.
But like I’ve had a vision of how I want to present things since we were told we were going to.

For my project I’m planning on having my game on a large display (if that’s possible) as well as having a few sweets for people to sample.

Because To a Tea is a catering business. Get it? ahahahaha

Anyway, that’s it for my final progress report.

Thanks for coming along on this wild ride. Catch you at the finish line ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
