Day 30: March 20, 2019

Today’s Progress: Personal Portfolio Webpage Project Pt. 1 (FCC)

Thoughts: Finally starting on my final project for Responsive Web Design section on freeCodeCamp. You can read about the requirements and see an example here. For my take on it, I want something cute and sweet..but still professional?

I drew out a rough sketch of what I want.

True Art.

…This is what I’ve managed to actually code today though.

Stuff and things.

Looking a little bare but it’s important to get the basic frame down before getting all fancy right?

Basics!

I want to say I’ll be finished with things tomorrow but problems always arise with things seem to be going easy.

We’ll see what happens.

Key Takeaways From Day Thirty:

  • The viewport is defined as the user’s visible area of a webpage. I was not aware of this term prior to today.
  • If your css isn’t working, first thing you should do is check if you actually linked it to the html document. I totally hadn’t.
